So yesterday I came back home from Zagreb.
The concert was fucking amazing, I am still in awe, I can't believe I was there. The weirdest part is that it doesn't really feel like I was there, it feels like I imagined it all. But I guess that's how everyone feels when they see their favorite band for the first time in their life. I am in soooo much pain. It hurts when I breathe, talk, swallow, walk... it pretty much hurts everywhere, but I don't care 'cause it was totally worth it.
We took some photos, but since my camera is a big piece of shit the photos are too. There are a couple of videos too, they are a bit better, but my batteries died on me at the end of the show when SlipKnoT sang Spit It Out, which is btw the best part of the whole concert. Those that LOVE the band know what part I'm talking about, those that don't know... well you don't need to know
all I can say is...it was crazy as hell.
I got showed by Clown when he was passing through the crowd but I didn't realize it was him until it was too late, then I had my fan girl moment when I screamed as loud as I could I didn't catch any of the things they were throwing off stage, but it's all good, being there was enough.
The mosh pits were ridiculous, I thought I would die in there but I jumped and kicked and screamed till the end. I was wet to the bone, from my own sweat from the sweat of other people jumping around me, I'm sure I could've cloned at least 200 people with all that sweaty DNA on me, there was beer raining all around, and water that the band members spilled on us... it was awesome. I have a couple of bruises, no broken bones though
I could go on about how good it was for the rest of my life, but I don't want to tire you people anymore. It was simply awesome, SlipKnoT and Killswitch Engage destroyed all 3000+ people in the that room and I think they were pretty surprised by the crowd too. You could see it on their faces. They said they will come back to Croatia, and I really hope they will. I'll start saving money right away because I want to go again.
